Ben Miller - Rocky Mountain Anglers

Ben has grown up with the Rocky Mountains as his backyard, spending much of his childhood hiking, skiing, and fishing. He picked up fly fishing from his high school teacher, and has immersed himself in the sport ever since. Currently a senior attending the University of Colorado in the school of engineering, Ben also runs the school’s fly fishing club. Teaching beginners is Ben’s specialty. He has taught new fly fishers for over a year in Denver and in the CU club.
Though school can be tough, Ben fishes Boulder Creek at least once a week during the spring and summer. He has put the time in to really master the local fishery, and he is happy to share his knowledge, and a few honey holes with others. Rocky Mountain National Park is Ben’s absolute favorite place to fish, particularly the high lakes. In his opinion, life doesn’t get much better than fishing for greenback cutthroat trout with dry flies in perhaps the most beautiful scenery in the world. Getting there is half the fun.
