Beginners Fly Tying Class - Rocky Mountain Anglers

The beginner's fly tying class is designed to familiarize anglers with all of the basic techniques required to tie regional patters. The class will begin with an introduction on the tools, materials, fly anatomy and basic midge patterns and graduate into various nymph, dry fly, streamer and terrestrial patterns. Techniques include but are not limited to the whip-finish, how to palmer hackle, weighting flies, dubbing, ribbing, and stacking hair. The class will be offered for six consecutive days during the winter months at a cost of $145.00.
