Beginners Fly Fishing Class - Rocky Mountain Anglers

Dates: Offered every other Sunday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm in April, May, June, July, August, September, October.
Cost: $75.00 per student (Students will receive 15% off in store purchases excluding items already on sale and certain rods)

This class is designed to provide anglers with all the introductory knowledge they need to get out on the river and catch fish. The class is four hours long and divided into two sessions. In the first session students learn about aquatic and terrestrial insect life cycles, the five basic fly fishing knots, rigging, fishing equipment, leaders, lines, weighting flies and how find trout. The remainder of the class is devoted to casting lessons. Students receive group and individual instruction on the roll, pickup and overhead casting techniques. The goal of the class is to learn and have fun!
What to Bring: Students will be provided with all of the necessary equipment for the class. However, we encourage you to bring any equipment that you may already own. Please bring polarized glasses (if you have them), lunch, sunscreen, rain gear and a great attitude.
